Shri. Satish Anand Shetty (Anna)was born & brought up in chembur. Since childhood he was brought up in such a way where his parents inculcated the value of social work & knowledge of industrial work, thus Mr Shetty gives the credit to the process he has been through.

 

 In his birth place itself he got into the industry association named Taloja Industries Association (TIA),which is located in 32kms radius of Mumbai that is in chembur, Is well connected to the city majors such as metro station,upcoming airport, national highways & different resources.

 

Taloja MIDC is wide spreaded upto 2139 acre of land,out of which 974 acres is occupied by sectors such as chemical, pharma, seafood, engineering industries & many more other industries looking towards taloja midc for their industry expansion.

 

Quite a many prestigious brands are connecting with TIA like Asian paint, Kellogg's, Dove, Colombia, Deepak fertilizer etc,for their expansion project.

 

Several sectors of TIA turned out to be useful in covid situations as it has all the essentials manufacturers such as oxygen, sanitizer ,mask etc. which were needed in these tough times

 

Taloja MIDC has many well organised plans which prove to be the perks for industries whether it be a small scale or a large scale industries.

●      Few of the developments made were establishing ETP plant (Effluent Treatment Plant)

 

●     HDP pipeline connecting line for effluent disposal.

 

●     Taloja midc is also working on a kasadi river cleaning campaign.

 

●     Constructing a dam on the river which will be beneficial for fishermen to carry on fishing for all 365 days.

 

●     In safety concerns, with the help of CSR Taloja MIDC has set up 150 CCTV to also track the malpractices done to pollute local water bodies.

 

 

Mr. Shetty Anna shows his gratitude towards CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) & local policemen for supporting the development of the industry arena.

 

Apart  from this (TIA) works for a noble cause of society.

 

●     The association is building an Industrial town ship where labourers & industry employees can locate in the vicinity of the workplace.

 

●     Taloja is working on building 100 beds Cancer Care hospital in 2.5 acre land involving 100cr with association with CSR & Mr Satish Shetty Anna's mother's foundation named Smt Parvati Tai charitable trust.

 

●     Shetty Anna says soon the ring road infrastructure will take place which will drastically cut down the traffic in the industry areas.

 

●     Keeping in mind the safety of the residents he has proposed the allotment of Buffer zone.(Buffer zone is a space between industry and residential to avoid inconvenience and tragedy to the residents.)
